Why precision compressed air filters are important

What does a precise filter mean?


A precision filter is a tool used to separate solid and liquid (or solid and air) in mixtures. It works well for separating different mixtures.




What is the reason for using a precision filter?


Compressed air has a lot of dust particles in it. It's bad for the machines that use compressed air if the area around them is dirty. Most of the dust is really tiny, less than 2 micrometers, and could easily get into the compressed air pipes. When water, dirt, rust, and germs gather in compressed air, they create a damaging mixture that can break down pipes and hurt your company's profits.




Not putting a filter on your equipment can cause problems.

Sorting precision filters into groups.


Filters can be big or small. Big filters are usually 300mm to 3000mm wide. If you need a special size, it can be made for you. Filters under 1000mm are small filters, while those over 1000mm are large filters.

Don't use too much pressure that goes beyond what the filter can handle. The filter should be put after the thing that cools the gas and where the gas gets stored. Put the filter close to where you use the gas and where it's coldest.


Don't install the filter after the quick opening valve. Install the filter up and down so it doesn't let water go backwards and stop sudden jolts. Keep enough room under the filter to change it out. If there's a bigger filter, put it somewhere secure.
